Pop princess – Britney Spears – will receive a gay award.

Access Hollywood reports that Logo, a gay and lesbian themed network from MTV’s Via Network, will pay homage to the pioneers of today who are transforming and defining tomorrow’s pop culture with the second annual “NewNowNext Awards 2009″.

The Circus ringleader will be honored with the  – Always Next, Forever Now Award – next Saturday, June 13th at 9 pm Eastern Time.

Vanessa Willians and Lance Bass are a couple of the big number of names attending the show, but there is no word if Spears will also be there.

Britney Spears dot com just released eight new tour dates for the Europen leg of the Circus Tour.

The announcement was made predicted when manager Adam Leber posted a twitter message to all the fans to read the latest news on the site at 10 PM Pacific time of last night.

Pink recently revealed she would not use “Circus” theme for her tour should she know that fellow singer Britney Spears also had the same idea. “Had I known that certain other people were going to base their latest thing about circus things, I probably would have went into another direction,” so she said.

“I was six months before that,” Pink continued with further explanation, recalling the time she came up with the concept. “And didn’t really understand that it was a trend that was happening. I’m pretty out of the loop.”

Pink based the “Circus” theme of her tour on her latest album “Funhouse”, which came out in October 2008. December also pulled out the concept from her latest set “Circus”, which arrived in store in December 2008.

Now that the tour is all set up, Pink promises to bring out something different than what concertgoers have seen during Britney’s roadshow. While Britney Spears gigs mostly deal with lip-synced performance and dance-oriented show, Pink’s concerts will be a “gritty, emotional rock ‘n’ roll” live appearance.

After her show in Las Vegas, Nevada, latest April 25th, Britney Spears made an exclusive after party to commemorate her show success.

Eonline exclusively reports that the party took place at Phill Maloof’s 15,000 square foot Sky Villa at the Palms Place Hotel and Space.

In the list of the 50 lucky people inside, there was her entire crew of 12 dancers and the opening band – PussyCat Dolls.

Paul Oakenfeld was the official Dj while the guests watched an act of contortionist performances.
