Britney Spears Album on Christmas?

Reports around the web say that Britney Spears new album was about to be released on 2008, but due to Jive Records (recording label) restrictions, it has to be on stores this year, on Christmas.
The next album is scheduled to fight against other stars releases as Jennifer Lopez and dido, and the whole management wants it to be a success.
Pop princess next album has participation of the most famous songwriters and producers including Pharrel Williams, Ne-yo and Nate Hills, but certainly not from Pink because she quotes that Britney Spears is no crazy enough to do one of her songs.
