Britney Spears New Album in Germany Amazon

Britney Spears fifth studio album has been added to the German Amazon site with a tentative release date of September 28th 2007.

This makes sense, as we reported yesterday, the single will be released on September 12th in Germany.

Following our exclusive report last week, breaking the news that Media Control Germany, which represents German record labels, had added the date for a new Britney Spears release, it has been updated today to 7th September 2007.

The addition can only be found on their internal ‘business to business’ site, and is not available to the general public, in any form. The full details are listed as “to be announced (TBD),” but it is expected that this will be the release date for the new single, with the album following 2 weeks later on 21st September 2006; the label is listed as “Sony BMG/Jive/Zomba Records.”
