Britney Spears Not Touring South America
Seems like today its the “NOT!” day.
After the big speculation of the fans about The Circus Tour going to Brazil, Mexico, Panama and Argentina, there is a new official report that confirms Britney will not be touring South America.
One of her business managers just posted an official message via his twitter account saying the following:
“Always hate to pass along bad news. Sadly The Circus will not be coming to South America. We really tried to make it happen! Sorry Guys =(“.
What does this means? AEG and Jive of course!
Everyone knows the tour’s (specially this big one) it’s a big investment of money, and such a big project costs millions to run.
The average ticket price in the USA and Europe is over the 100 dollars, which means that is a price practically impossible to ask in those countries.
Think the following:
“An average worker in Brazil makes 200 dollars a month, can they afford Britney Spears show? NOT!”
It is know that this is not Britney’s fault, she doesn’t control the ticket price! But the bills are too high when running the Circus tour, so they need to make a price so they don’t lose the money”.
Let’s still have her hopes on, and hopefully a few TV appearances in Latin America? That would be freaking awesome y’all.

And i can tell u that most people would go,not all the people here makes 200 dollars a month… and i can tell u for sure,just like madonna everybody would go… Madonna even had to do an extra show here, because there is a lot of fans… really sad,we are waiting for the next tour!!!!!!!!!

Don’t worry guys! Britney knows who are her best fans around the world: Mexican fans of course! Her Circus album was #1 and is the biggest selling album of a female pop artist in history of Mexico music! She got a huge 40,000 copies in a week! It’s a lot of many there!Really, latin american fans don’t have money to pay a britney concert? I went to Miami to see her and I from Merida, Yucatan and I spend nearly 2000 dollars on that weekend jeje So, come on! AEG, Britney already done it years ago when she fulls the foro sol on Mexico City nearly 100,000 fans on her dream within a dream tour! Not even on USA make it happend that! I´m from Rosario, Argentina, people here CAN afford the show. Madonna was here last year, she did four shows in the biggest stadium we have here, in Buenos Aires, we may not be like the US or europe, but the people who want to go and see these kind of shows, they just go and spend their money, a lot of people here make more than 200 U$S…Madonna was 700 $, that is like 200 U$S, and she did four shows, U2 came, robbie williams, coldplay, i know the circus is even better and more expensive maybe but there are people who can go tho those kind of shows…….find out!!!! obviously a ticket to britney´s show is over 150 U$S, we can afford that….a lot of people here can, the people that would go can…i´m so angry right now
i hope she will come here someday, i´ll keep waiting for that day to finally come
