Britney Spears Working With T-Pain?

I just got off the phone with T-Pain. The Tallahassee R&B singer currently has the No. 1 song on the Billboard charts.

His sophomore album comes out next Tuesday, June 5th. Be sure to look out for my Q&A with him Saturday, June 9th, in the AEI section. But in the meantime, I’ll give you a taste of the story — the juiciest parts about him working with Britney Spears and his thoughts on hyphy. I’ll leave the rest about him for the story coming later.

On working with Britney Spears on her upcoming album. T-Pain described Britney Spears as an everyday person, like you and me, who just went through a few bad days. Unfortunately, everybody focused on those days.. That’s why he wanted to work with her, because who isn’t still a fan of Britney Spears? And who doesn’t have bad days?

He said the media has blown everything out of proportion and haven’t been fair to her.
