Is Britney Spears Dating Luke Walton ?

luke-walton Just when we thought that Britney Spears loved Kobe, it turns out she may have another Laker in her romantic sights. Rumor has it that Luke Walton is all set to go on a date with Britney Spears, this from the Daily Star:

BRITNEY Spears could soon be getting up to some “lanky panky” with a 6ft 8in basketball player.

Pop queen is set to go out on a date with LA Lakers star Luke Walton. And his pals say they will be perfect partners – because Britney Spears, 25, is fresh out of rehab and Luke, 27, is on the wagon during his team’s run-in to the NBA play-offs.

“His people and her people are trying to thrash out a date when they can have a bite to eat and then we’ll see what happens.”

You gotta love tabloid journalism, right? Personally, I don’t believe this one for a second. Luke Walton isn’t exactly lacking in the looks department, and, living in Los Angeles as a member of the Lakers, I seriously doubt that he’s lacking for female attention either. I just don’t see the upside for him in dating a bald single mother with addiction problems who’s stalked by the paparazzi day and night. Then again, this could all be a ploy for Luke to get himself close to Britney’s buddy Paris Hilton. Ah, yes, now this story is beginning to make some sense.
