Perhaps wary of appearing too eager, Britney Spears, who still co-owned a Florida home with Justin even while married to Kevin Federline, has been less direct in showing her lasting affection for her first love, reaching out to the former *NSYNC star through his friend and one-time bandmate JC Chasez. In fact, she asked him to score her a ticket to Justin’s show, and has looked to JC for personal and professional guidance. “It’s taken some time to heal her wounds,” JC tells OK!. “It will be about trying to make better decisions in the future. You learn from your mistakes.”

Still, there are some guys she can count on, she told pal JC Chasez when they met up in NYC February 6, during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week: her sons, Sean, 17 months, and Jayden, 5 months. “She told me how much a blessing it is…to know that you’re going to have somebody that will love you forever,” Chasez tells US.

At Marquee, she annoyed a bathroom attendant by taking mints without tipping (or washing her hands), but won over Timberlake pal JC Chasez. “I’d love to see her get focused.” the ex ‘NSyncer tells US.
