Justin Timberlake And Britney Spears To Re-Record Marvin Gaye Duet!

britney-spears-justin-timberlake Justin Timberlake and ex-lover Britney Spears are set to record a duet. Justin - who first met Britney Spears while starring on children’s tv show ‘The Mickey Mouse Club’ and dated her for four years until 2002 - is confident the record can help rebuild her faltering pop career and get her back on track.

A source said: “Britney Spears was extremely touched that Justin had been in contact. Going into the studio is Justin’s way of helping her get better.”

The pair are planning to visit a Los Angeles recording studio this week with producer Timbaland to re-record the Mowtown classic ‘You’re All I Need to Get By’, originally a hit for Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell in 1968.

Earlier this month, Timbaland approached Justin to plead for him to help propel Britney Spears back to the top of the charts.

He said: “I feel her pain, it really bothers me. I asked Justin, ‘How would you feel about me working with Britney? Would you do it with me?’ He said he would.”
