K-Fed Takes Advantage: Britney Spears Puts Career Before Kids?

Many of the questions people ask when they see Britney Spears out and about usually centers around her two young kids. Now a new report in this week’s OK! Magazine claims that the pop princess is no longer interested in being a mom. In her pre-rehab days when she was out all night with Paris and Lindsay and photographed endlessly, many asked ‘where are her children?’

Now the report from the weekly entertainment magazine seems to suggest that the kids are no longer a priority for the young mother. That’s a fairly strong accusation aimed at Spears but many will relate.

The magazine teases the story online: Britney Spears is ready to get her career back on track. Unfortunately, her plan doesn’t include time for being a mother to her sons, Sean Preston, 1, and Jayden James, 7 months.

“Britney says she has so much going on with getting back to work on her album that her plate is too full to care for two kids,” a close friend of the singer tells OK!. Britney is spending more time shopping, dining with friends and getting massages while pawning her sons off on Kevin Federline.

And Britney’s ex-husband is taking advantage, stating that he doesn’t want to miss out on their early years like he did with his other two children, the report claims.
