(NEW YORK, September 9th 2011) – About two weeks ago, rumors regarding a remix album was floating around the community.

The remix album titled “B IN THE MIX, THE REMIXES VOL. 2” was rumored to release on a number of different days that were supposedly confirmed, but it wasn’t till today where we found out official information regarding the new remixed album.

The announcement came today during a tweet from Britney herself. “Exciting news tweeps… new remix album is coming out on 10/11! Pumped for you to hear these tracks – I love them.” B IN THE MIX, THE REMIXES VOL. 2 is set for release on October 11th 2011. A tracklist has also surfaced with ten new remixes, but no word on whether there will be one or two new singles that are included.

(NEW YORK, August 31st 2011) – Another rumor has been reported and hot off the press we are hearing that B In the Mix 2 is releasing shortly.

If you remember the first “B In The Mix” album, which released in 2005 featuring remixes from previous albums such as Baby One More Time, …Oops I Did it Again, Britney and In the Zone. Along with the remixes; two new songs (Someday & And Then We Kiss) were also included in the album. If the next chapter of B In the Mix releases; we’ll see remixes from Blackout, Circus and even Femme Fatale.

Sources tell us that the album will release at the end of September, meanwhile Sony Japan is reporting that a possible remix album will be on sale around the end of November. If Spears wraps up her Femme Fatale mid-December in South America it sounds likely…

(NEW YORK, July 2nd 2011) – Are you surprised B fans?

Our girl Britney has won the album of the year (so far) for 2011, which was being ran by MTV Network. The poll included, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Adele, Bad Meets Evil and Chris Brown. It appears that Britney and Gaga smoked everyone on the MTV list, but still Britney took the home run.

An article for Billboard Brazil has spilled the beans that Selena Gomez not only will be recording the song “Whiplash” written by Britney Spears, but also will be recording 2 additional songs written by Britney specifically for Selena! Both producers Dr Luke and Kevin Rudolph confirmed to Billboard about the songs. Kevin Rudolph had this to say about the songs’ lyrics- “The lyrics are like a drug, so catchy! They’re easy, fast, and really sexy!” Selena is said to be beyond thrilled to be recording songs written by her idol.
